THE DATA THAT WE COLLECT

We gather data on users' use of our services and interactions from them directly, automatically from their interactions with those services and interactions, and from third parties. The data we gather from these numerous sources may be combined.
Information That You Give Us. Through direct interactions with users, we can obtain information from them on things like:

1. First Name, Last Name, Phone number and credit card information
2. Construction and updating of profiles, account administration, and account registration
3. Access to and usage of the account, as well as publishing content to the Services and any related actions
4. information about payments being made
5. participation in Battery Bird-sponsored polls, competitions, prizes, and promotions up for Battery Bird email, text, or instant message alerts or other information delivery.
6. Technical support, customer service, and related communications
7. Participating in groups, leaving comments on blog posts, contacting us on social media, and visiting other forums
8. submitting a resume or application to work at Battery Bird

In addition, we gather demographic information from you, such as your age, gender, favourite language, and current location. 

Information Gathered Automatically. As you browse our websites, utilise our apps, or otherwise use the services, we may also gather non-personal information from you: 

Internet and Device Usage. When you access the Services using a computer, browser, mobile device, or other device, we may collect information about that device. The information we gather may include your IP address, device identifiers and other unique identifiers, browser type, browser language, operating system name and version, device name and model, version, referring and exit pages, dates and times you access our Services, the amount of time you spend logged into or using our Services, the links you click or features you use, software crash reports, and sess information. We may do this by using cookies, pixels, log files, and other similar technologies. Location Information and Device Charging. On your smartphone and any chargers, you use, we automatically gather and store location data. You can change your mobile device’s location/Bluetooth settings, but some features might not be available through the App if you do. We also collect and store the location information (e.g., city, state, or zip code where available) associated with the IP address of the device you use to access the Services and, with your permission, the location information provided by your mobile device via GPS or Bluetooth.

Analytics: We gather and examine data that comes from users’ use of our services, including overall usage patterns, user preferences, peak demand periods, frequent routes, and other data. 

Information We Gather from Outside Sources. We occasionally obtain user data from outside sources. 

Social media platforms and third-party platforms. We may gather certain information about your interactions with us or content you post about us on third-party social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, LinkedIn, YouTube, or Pinterest. The information we may gather depends on your settings on and the policies of these social media platforms. You may also be able to login to the Services using a third-party social media account, in which case you will be prompted to agree to our access to and collection of certain information from your social media profile, subject to the policies of that platform. We may also permit you to post specific content from these platforms to your Battery Bird profile. 

Other Outside Sources. In order to verify and update information in our records and better tailor the Services to you, we may also gather information about you that we may obtain from business partners, marketers, analysts, and other sources.  

Information Processing and Use

As described in more detail below, we use the data we gather from and about you to operate and provide the Services, respond to user requests, provide customer service and support, protect our rights and those of others, send marketing communications, facilitate the personalization of user experiences, and improve the Services.
Additionally, we may handle information as required to establish, protect, and defend our legal rights as well as anyone else's health, safety, or essential interests.

OPENING UP YOUR INFORMATION

We make the following uses of the data we collect public:
We save it in our database to manage users accounts. This is done through users registering in the application via app store or google play store.
Service Providers from a Third Party. For a range of tasks, including hosting, billing and payment processing, push notifications, storage, bandwidth, content management tools, analytics, customer care, fraud protection, and others, we work with third-party service providers.
Business operations generally. We may provide information to our tax advisers, legal counsel, and other professional services entities or agents as necessary for the administration of our general business, accounting, record-keeping, and legal operations.

Rights protection and adherence to the law. We may also use or disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to applicable law or comply with legal process served on us or the Services; (b) establish, protect, and defend our rights or property, the Services, or our users, including to look into, prevent, or otherwise address illegal activity, suspected fraud, circumstances that may put anyone’s safety at risk, violations of the terms of service, or other claims. For the purpose of preventing fraud, this also includes information sharing with other businesses and organisations. 

Anonymous or aggregate information For their or our research, marketing, analytics, or other purposes, including publishing a report on usage trends, we may share aggregate/anonymous information about how the Services are used with third parties, including our merchant partners. This information may also include aggregated location data. Such data can be distributed without restriction. 

Transfers of Companies. We may look to acquire, combine, or collaborate with other businesses as we grow our enterprise. User information may be one of the transferred assets in such transactions (including those that are being considered). Customer information would probably be one of the business assets transferred if all or a portion of our assets were sold or transferred to a third party. We will adhere to any additional legal requirements that apply additional mandatory restrictions to such transmission.

These are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to the hard drive of your device via your web browser in order to keep records of your usage of our online services, your preferences and actions, and other device and usage data as previously mentioned. Web beacons or clear GIFs are pixel tags. Pixel tags are tiny images with a special identification that are silently included into emails or web pages. They serve a similar purpose as cookies. Pixel tags may be used by us or by our service providers in connection with our Services to, among other things, monitor user activity on the Site and App, assist in content management, assess ad performance, and gather usage data. Analytics Solutions. On our Services, we employ third-party analytics services, such as Google Analytics, a web analytics tool offered by Google, Inc. ("Google"). In order to evaluate how users interact with and use the Services, create user activity reports, and provide other services relating to activity and usage, Google Analytics uses cookies and other tracking technologies. The technologies used by Google may gather data such as your IP address, the time of your visit, if you are a repeat visitor, and any websites or apps that you may have used as referrals. Your Information is encrypted on our server. Your information is protected by technical, physical, and organisational security measures to prevent accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, and access. However, there is no completely secure technique of electronic or physical storage or of transmission over the Internet. We urge you to take precautions to safeguard your data and prevent unauthorised access to your password or account, including signing off after using a shared computer, selecting a strong password that no one else will know or be able to guess, and keeping your log-in and password private. We disclaim all liability for passwords that are misplaced, stolen, or otherwise compromised, as well as for any account activity that results from unauthorised password use.

LINKS AND SERVICES FROM THIRD PARTIES

The Services include third-party plug-ins and functionality (such the Facebook "like" and Twitter "follow" buttons), as well as links to third-party websites, including social media websites. Depending on how their services are designed to work, if you choose to use these sites or features, you may disclose your information not just to those third parties but also to their users and the wider public. We take no responsibility for the information or business methods used by those websites or services. Your information will be collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with the privacy policies of the third-party websites and services, not this Privacy Policy. We strongly advise reading these third parties' privacy and security policies.

MODIFICATIONS TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We retain the right to update this privacy statement at any time to reflect modifications to the legislation, improvements to our methods for gathering and using data, features of our services, or developments in technology. We will update the "Effective Date" of the Privacy Policy and make the updated Privacy Policy available through the Services, and By continuing to use the Services, you are indicating that you have read and understand the latest version of this Privacy Policy.

YOUR OPTIONS

You can change your communication options in your account profile at any time to change the types of communications you receive from us or to opt out of receiving marketing messages from us. Please be aware that we reserve the right to send you crucial notices, payment confirmations, transaction-related emails, and other information regarding your usage of the Services as non-promotional messages.
